Constructing a performing arts centre above an active underground rail network, Edith Cowan University (ECU) needed to address noise and vibration from the trains to ensure the new environment remained unaffected.
Our team designed and implemented a box-in-box system to isolate the building from vibrations generated by the rail tunnel, ensuring users of the facilities can enjoy an undisturbed experience. This custom-engineered solution represents the largest project in Embelton’s history and is scheduled for completion in late 2025.
