A significant proportion of the company’s solid strip timber (and parquetry) is manufactured at the company’s timber mill in Taree, northern NSW, with Spotted Gum, Blackbutt, Brushbox and Sydney Blue Gum the predominant species.
The company also strong relationships with other leading manufacturers including Hurfords, Gunns and AST, and can supply all Australian timbers in many different grades and specs. Its parquetry range includes both mosaic and block parquetry.
Embelton generally sells solid timber (and supporting accessories such as coatings, adhesives and sandpapers) direct to flooring contractors through its trade counters, located in Melbourne (Coburg and Huntingdale), Sydney, Brisbane and Perth.
